Shift your focus from selling to assisting…
BACKSTORY
From my teenage years, I had a special interest in sales and market analysis. This interest constantly led me to research in this field.
Despite the fact that my education was not in this area, my passion and perseverance gave me the opportunity to join one of the largest online companies in the Middle East (Digikala) and be responsible for the procurement and sale of mobile phones for more than 11 years.
This activity was full of new challenges for me and helped me make significant progress in this field.
During my tenure, I designed and implemented many marketing and sales projects within the organization, which contributed to my personal and organizational growth. In addition, during this period, I was able to establish very close and effective relationships with the main managers and sellers in this business, which led me to consider starting my own business.
Today, it has been 3 years since I started my own business with the help and partnership of a friend, specifically working in the import and sale of mobile phones. All our experiences at Digikala helped us establish an online sales network called Mobilex.
ON THE LOOKOUT FOR
Aligning marketing and sales is an important and constant goal for business leaders.
These two areas are in a symbiotic relationship where one feeds the other, and the reverse also happens. If the marketing and sales departments do not work effectively together, both will be less effective.
Businesses where sales and marketing teams work in harmony usually have a better chance of exceeding their revenue goals.
Technology is always changing, and the future alignment of marketing with technology will be inevitable.
Communication tools, databases, cloud technology, artificial intelligence, and open access to data all influence the strategic decisions of businesses.
